Principal's Message

Dear Phillips Families,

We're off to a great start this year after the initial set-backs related to the earthquake and the aftermath of that. I hope everyone is in a good place at this point and I want to remind all families that we still have support services available for anyone who may still be in need. If you need any kind of support, not just earthquake related, feel free to sop by the Phillips Family Resource Center and speak with Lupita and Maria.

I want to thank our amazing Parent Faculty Club Board, Ligia Navarette, Maria Meza, Ivania Zamudio, Cecilia Sanchez and Eva Zamudio, for how incredibly hard they have been working these past months to get ready for this school year with many fun events and fundraisers to support our school. The board presented the budget and plan of activities for the 2014-2015 school year at our last PFC meeting on September 8. They have been putting in hours of work with the support of Brenda Perry, an accountant and member of the Napa Rotary who has been volunteering her time. The Napa Rotary has adopted our school and we will be building upon that relationship in the coming months. Thank you to Brenda and the Napa Noon Rotary Club!

We are looking forward to a great year of learning as we continue to build our STEM program. Soon, all students and families will be able to enjoy "gallery walks" throughout the Phillips campus as we begin displaying some of the beautiful artwork that students have created thus far. Look for artwork to be on display in the office, multi-use room and throughout our campus.
